Maryann Gunderson, Chef

 

About Maryann:

Education: AA Culinary Arts from Clover Park Technical College

Experience: I have worked in the food industry since 2005, working in every facet from being a hostess, server, catering, personal chef and I have been a Head Chef since early 2012. It has been since 2012 I have been part of the Early Care and Education field working at Hayes Child Development Center.

What I do at Hayes: I am the Head Chef/Meal Planner. I plan out the Meals for breakfast, lunch and both snacks; I prepare and cook the food for consumption. I also run the 2 gardens on site.

What I do when I’m not at work: I love spending times with friends and family especially my Husband and 2 kids. I love to explore new places and try new things and food. I have a passion for making cupcakes/cakes and bake a lot on the weekends for birthday parties, showers and weddings!
