We use the future verb tense to talk about actions in the future. We can use this tense to make a plan. Many people make plans to save money to buy a car, to buy a house, or to pay for school expenses. There are two (2) ways to write or speak about the future. You can use will or be going to.

will + base verb *will and base verb are the same for every subject; they do not change |
I will buy a car. You will buy a car. She will buy a car. He will buy a car. We will buy a car. They will buy a car. |
be + going to + base verb *be changes with the subject; the base verb does not change |
I am going to buy a car. You are going to buy a car. He is going to buy a car. She is going to buy a car. We are going to buy a car. They are going to by a car. |
