OVERVIEW
On this page, you will listen to a dialog between a parent and someone at a school. Then you will record your own dialog in class with a partner.
- First, read and listen to the dialog between the office assistant and the parent.
- Then, in class, work with a partner to practice the dialog and record it.

Read:
It is important to communicate with teachers. One way to communicate is to make a phone call. You can call your teacher when you are sick and cannot go to school. You can also call the teacher if you have a question about the class or homework. Listen to the dialog. Follow along with the handout.
