Navigating the Library Website

Directions: Go to the CPTC Library webpage and answer the following questions:

 

  1. Locate the section on “Library Databases”. How many databases are available on the library website, and which ones are they?

 

 

  1. What is “Primo One Search”?

 

 

  1. What is “Proquest”?

 

 

  1. In Proquest, search for articles on “Student Success”. How many articles did you find? Select one, and write the full title and author(s).

 

 

If you are off campus, you will need this user name and password for Proquest:

              Password: Cptclib2@20

 

  1. Under “Other Libraries in the Area”, locate the local library closest to your home, and write down the branch name, address, phone number, and hours of operation.

 

 

  1. Under “Research Information”, find the “Math Sites” link. What kind of math assistance does “Virtual Math Lab” offer?
