About your Instructor

  Welcome!

Welcome to Accounting! My name is Lucy Dorum and I will be the instructor for the Bookkeeping course you have registered for. I have an Associates Degree from Fort Steilacoom Community College (now Pierce College) and a Bachelor's Degree from Western Washington University. My work history includes accounting for an Architect, Printing Company, medical billing, PTA work and some private client work.  I have been practicing in accounting for over 40 years and have been teaching for over 30 years at Clover Park.

The best way to contact me is by Canvas e-mail through the course (Inbox link on the far left navigation bar).  I usually check my email several times a day (during the week – not regularly on the weekends or holidays), and should get back to you right away.   If you have difficulty with Canvas, you can reach me at lucy.dorum@cptc.edu.   I have limited hours on the Clover Park campus, so please use email as I may not get phone messages timely.
