Rasha Al-Tameemi
From a practical perspective, I am an ambitious experienced educator, architect, designer, and researcher. I earned my Ph.D. in Architecture from the School of Architecture and Interior Design (DAAP), University of Cincinnati. Nine years ago, prior to coming to the U.S., I served as a faculty member in the Department of Architecture at the University of Technology for 5 years teaching courses in architecture, interior design, landscape, and urban planning.
From a personal perspective, I am a mother for one smart teenage son. I like photography, walking in nature, biking and swimming. I love to travel, visit and discover new places and do activities. I used to like drawing when I was young, then when I started to study and work in architecture, my hobby blended into my career, though I still have these nostalgic moments to return to draw random paintings that do not relate to architecture.
