COURSE STRUCTUREClass will meet face to face each week in BLDG 10 RM 205 from 6-9. There will be additional web enhanced discussions. |

HOW TO SUCCEED IN THIS CLASSStudents are expected to be active participants in class as individuals and in groups. During class discussions, it is expected that students listen to others respectfully and manage their emotions appropriately. Using cell phones (except emergencies) or lap tops as well as doing other class work during class will result in a loss of participation points. Arriving late and leaving class early may affect the attendance and participation grade portion of the course. |

ASSESSMENT OF OBJECTIVESStudents will give oral responses appropriate to the material in class as a component of the grade. Students will complete work demonstrating newly acquired skills and understanding of the materials presented in class. Students will complete homework assignments which reflect research of topics for discussion by the designated deadline. Students will demonstrate professional conversation and interaction among their peers when working in a small or large group. Students will receive or loose credit for attendance. Students must achieve at least 70% of possible points to pass the course. |
