COURSE DESCRIPTION

Introduction to the methods of construction footing and foundation forms, terminology and inspections for the typical residential home.

Objective 1: Construct various footing forms accurately from a typical set of foundation plans

Objective 2: Construct various foundation forms accurately from a typical set of foundation plans
Objective 3: Bend and place rebar according to building codes
Objective 4:    Strip, scrape and remove footing and foundation forms.

25% – Assignments
10% – Quizzes
25% – Lab Component (participation) (group work)
20% – Midterm Exam
