COURSE DESCRIPTION
Introduction to the installation of exterior trim, siding and window and door installation on the equivalent of typical residential homes.
PREREQUISITES
None

Canvas assignments, quizzes and tests; instructor’s physical observation of hands-on demonstrations of skills taught in the workshop sessions.

Objective 1: Properly install wood, vinyl and windows |
Objective 2: Properly set siding and pre-hung exterior doors |
Objective 3: Install common, locally accepted siding and trim, including cement board, plywood bevel, shingle and channel |
Objective 4: Apply sealants to various siding perforations for maximum weather protection |
