Test Proctoring

  • Stage Exams will be completed at the SHC.  Schedule a time with your ground school instructor to ensure someone is available to proctor the exam and there is adequate time to complete the exam

Ground School Grading

Your score on stage exams and chapter quizzes is half of your overall AVP class grade.  The other half of the AVP class grade is your grades on flight lessons.

All chapter quizzes and stage exams must be completed with 80% or better to receive a passing grade in the class. These tests are required of all students, including those who are repeating a class.

A maximum of 3 attempts are allowed on stage exams.  If you score below an 80% on your third attempt, an F grade will be issued for the entire AVP class. The score on the first attempt on a stage exam is used for grading purposes.

If you do not have the chapter quizzes and stage exams completed and passed by the due dates listed above, you will be grounded from flying until the quizzes and stage exams are complete.

The following classes require successful completion of the FAA knowledge test prior to the due dates for the class in order to receive a passing grade for the ground training and the AVP class:

AVP 118, AVP 135, AVP 138, AVP 152, AVP 170, AVP 172, AVP 223, AVP 255, AVP 257
