M2: Onboarding HR Checklist
Overview
You can locate information on payroll, benefits, Professional Development Units (PDUs), collective bargaining, and New Employee FAQ on the Human Resources Intranet page.
Read
During your meeting with HR, you will be given information about the things listed below. HR will give you specific dates that you will need to submit your paperwork for each of these items.
- Health insurance plan choices
- Dental insurance plan choices
- Retirement plan choices
- Tax withholding
HR also has a Canvas Training required of all new hires.
CPTC New Employee Onboarding Canvas - 2024
At Clover Park we have 16 required training courses that all new employees will complete.
You will access the trainings through canvas and the CPTC New Employee Onboarding Course that will be provided to you from HR.
Completion Timeline
These courses need to be completed within the first 90 days of your employment at Clover Park.

This course is broken up by module and each module is a different training course that includes:
- Instructions and Links page – where you can click to access the different training platforms
- Assignment page – where you will submit your certificate or take the associated course quiz

- Data Security (20 minutes)
- Child Abuse Prevention (20 minutes)
- Compliance Trainings (Canvas)
- Records Management (Self-Paced)
- DES
- Ethics (2 hours)
- Defensive Driving (1 hour)
- Active Threat (10 minutes)
- Sexual Harassment Prevention (1 hour 45 minutes)
- Respect in the Workplace (14 minutes)

- 2 PeopleSoft Fundamentals (Self-Paced)
- HCM ES100 Employee Self Service (Self-Paced)
